THE PROBLEM 
Fresh floral styling is one of the areas where wedding budgets can escalate quickly. Unlike many other wedding services, fresh flowers are affected by seasonal availability, weather conditions, import costs and market pricing. As a result, floral quotes are often subject to change closer to the wedding date and initial estimates do not always reflect the final cost after substitutions, upgrades, delivery fees and reimbursements.

CLARITY PRICING FOR PRE-SET ARRANGEMENTS
At Event Weddings, we believe couples should have certainty as early as possible. For this reason, we offer a range of pre-set floral arrangements with guaranteed pricing locked in at the time of booking so you know exactly what you're getting at what price. This allows couples to confidently budget without worrying about unexpected increases closer to the wedding day.

TRANSPARENT PRICING FOR CUSTOM THEMES
For custom floral designs, we operate on a transparent pricing basis consisting of florist labour fees plus reimbursement of actual amounts spent on fresh florals, structural accessories and related materials. This allows couples to decide exactly how much exactly is allocated to flowers.  Unlike traditional pricing models where flower costs and margins are often combined, we separate labour from purchases. This means there is  (1) no incentive to reduce flower quality  to increase profit, (2)  no incentive to upsell more expensive flowers or unnecessary work, and (3) no conflict of interest when we go to the markets and have to decide whether to spend your money on more expensive products or protect margins, particularly if prices have gone up. We do not add markups or commissions to floral purchases and receipts can be provided upon request. Our objective is simple: to achieve the best possible floral outcome within your set budget.

There are also a number of practical and creative ways to achieve a beautiful fresh floral outcome without unnecessary expense, which we discuss as part of the planning process. 

Below are our standard fresh floral items available:

1 Bouquets: bridal bouquets, buttonholes, petals
2 Ceremony: Arch, arbour, plinth florals, chair end florals, ground aisle side florals, easel florals
3 Reception Table centrepiece florals, bridal table top florals, bridal table frontage florals, behind bridal table floral blocks, ceiling installations

To ensure that ceremony and reception styling and decoration services can be delivered safely and professionally, the following requirements generally apply:

General Styling Requirements
* A minimum of 1 hour setup for ceremony, and 2.5 hours for reception
* A minimum of 1 hour pack-down access after the ceremony is generally required for both ceremony and reception
* Reasonably convenient vehicle access should be available for loading and unloading equipment.
* Suitable parking should be available close to the ceremony location where possible.
* The ceremony location should be accessible without unreasonable manual handling or transport difficulties.
* Any venue access restrictions, permits, loading requirements or timing restrictions should be disclosed before booking.
* Outdoor ceremonies must have a wet weather contingency plan. Fresh floral elements disintegrate in the rain. Damage fees to hardware may apply
* Styling and decoration items should not obstruct guest movement, emergency access routes or venue operational requirements.
* Bridal bouquets should be brought from air conditioned area no more than one hour before start of ceremony. if location shoot is taking place before, use artificial as backup or obtain second bouquet.

Additional requirements may apply depending on the location, venue restrictions, complexity of setup and selected styling package. 

Disclaimer for Fresh Floral Styling
* Fresh flowers are seasonal products. Exact flower varieties may not always be available and substitutions of similar style, colour or value may occasionally be required.
* Fresh flowers are natural products and variations in colour, size, shape and appearance should be expected.
* Extreme heat, strong wind, direct sunlight and adverse weather conditions can significantly reduce the lifespan and appearance of fresh floral arrangements.
* Fresh floral installations are designed to look their best during the intended event period and are not guaranteed to maintain the same appearance throughout extended photography sessions or late-night events.
* Certain delicate flower varieties may bruise, wilt or discolour during transport, setup or normal event use despite reasonable care being taken.
* Clients should advise of any known allergies that may be relevant to floral selections.
* Fresh florals are perishable products and cannot generally be refunded, returned or resold once ordered.
* Last-minute design changes may not be possible once floral orders have been placed with growers, wholesalers or florists.
