How to Customise Your Package

No two weddings are exactly the same, there might be things in our package that you don't need, or there may be certain services that you might want to source yourselves! We are here to support you, and this is why all our packages are 100% Customisable. This means you can take out things you don't need, tailor individual services to suit your preferences, and add optional extras.

BOOK IN A WEDDING PLANNING TRIAL - The WEDDING PLANNING TRIAL is a free, obligation free, and pressure free initial consultation to get you started on your wedding planning journey. (1) First, we will help you design a runsheet and help you visualise how your day will flow, (2) next we will help you run through a full checklist of all services that you might need to have for your wedding, and (3) finally we will help you determine your budget. * If you have not found a venue yet, start with the FREE VENUES SERVICE.
CUSTOMISING YOUR PACKAGE - In this meeting, we will help you customise your package and make it yours by (1) Taking things out; (2) Tailoring details to suit your needs; and (3) Add things in.

1. TAKE THINGS OUT THAT YOU DON'T NEED: Each item in our package is individually priced. For example, the photography component on the package may be $1000. If you already have your own photographer, that's completely fine, and we love working with others! We will just subtract the final amount by $1000. Each item is individually itemised and taking things out doesn't affect the price of other services. We will show you a full package breakdown at this meeting.

2. TAILOR DETAILS TO SUIT YOUR NEEDS: On the website, services might just show up as "Photography" - but at the Wedding Planning Trial, we will explain to you the full details of the service such as the number of photographers, number of hours, estimated final photo amounts, service inclusions; as well as details for optional extras such as additional hours, additional shoots and printing etc. Based on our discussion, we can advise on how to tailor the package to suit your needs.

3. ADD OPTIONS: Our packages are designed to be complete and has all the essential elements, but there may be some optional items that you might want to add. For example, not everyone needs a photobooth but for some people it would be a nice-to-have. We will run through a list of additional secondary services to make sure we have accounted for all services that you will need for your perfect wedding package.
YOUR CUSTOM PROPOSAL: At the end of the Wedding Planning Trial, you will receive your very own custom proposal that reflects what you need. As part of our commitment to our No Pressure Guarantee under our Transparency Principle (See ABOUT US), you will not be asked to put down a deposit at this meeting. You can come back to us when you're ready to proceed.

Where can I find the infopack?

When should I start booking this?

"I should have come earlier" is something that we hear from couples! We are in high demand and to maintain service quality we limit the number of weddings that we take, so we may not be available for your event; and in many cases couples may have booked a number of services already. In saying this, what we do may or may not be suitable for you.

We recommend you to meet us first so that you can see what we can do, and then you can determine whether you would like to get everything with us, or partially, or not at all. In any case, the wedding planning trial is a great way to start your wedding planning journey!

Generally we recommend couples to start planning their wedding 9-12 months from their wedding day, but shorter timeframes are very much possible for low seasons, weekdays and flexible short lead time weddings.

Can I only choose services that I want?

All our packages are fully customisable and you only need to choose the services that you want to have from us! You might be getting married in a church and don't need a celebrant, or your best friend is a cake stylist. Whatever the reason is, we respect the choices of clients and our job is to help you put everything together for your wedding day!

Can I get a full breakdown of all prices?

Yes you can! We will show you a detailed full break down when we meet with you at the Wedding Planning Trial. The breakdown version of the package is a very large document, just the service description component is almost 5000 words (excluding the T&Cs!). Part of what we do in the Wedding Planning Trial is to explain in detail what each service entail so that at the end of the meeting you'll have a very clear idea about what we do and whether it is suitable for you!

What if I change my mind later?

Like all agreements, it's not a good idea to change your mind after signing on the dotted line. This is because we have already booked you in and have reserved resources for your event.

When you receive the proposal, only confirm that services that you know that you want to have from us. Anything else that you're not certain about you can add into the Optionals Category so that you can always add it back on later. As long as the service is still available, the price offered at the proposal will remain the same. However, there is no guarantee that it will be available.
