WHAT WE REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS VENUE
"The Chinese venue that's not a Chinese venue"
Event Weddings has been planning weddings at Highline since it opened in 2018, and it remains to be one of the top picks for many of our couples. Highline aims to solve one problem: "I want a full Chinese banquet in a venue with premium interiors". Previously the only possibility was external catering: however, costs for this arrangement often doubles the cost of either western or Chinese banquets. And now, we have Highline. Highline consists of four function spaces in different sizes and is suitable for events from 100+. When it comes to luxurious interiors and excellent in-house AV systems, no other venue really compares... if Chinese food is important. We rate Highline's food as excellent with quality service to match, compared with other venues within the area and with other Chinese restaurant venues, and is on par with expectations at leading western function centres. Parking facilities are plentiful and free. The headline price for Highline may seem slightly higher than most other Chinese venues, but with all things considered it is certainly not unreasonable because you are getting a lot more. Pro tip: Don't underestimate budgeting. For the budget conscious, associated costs, service required and some professional fees in this venue will very likely exceed any other Chinese venue - in particular expectations for styling will not be the same. So when budgeting it is highly advisable to not budget as if you're going to a local Chinese restaurant. Consider this a professionally run function centre that serves Chinese food. So which room is our favourite? It's the Sky Ballroom.
