WHAT WE REALLY THINK ABOUT THIS VENUE
Crystal Seafood Strathfield is one of those restaurants that have been around since forever. It has a local vibe that is often overlooked in wedding shortlists. But we find that the venue is surprisingly well-equipped for events, and particularly so after new renovation works completed in 2025. The venue comes with a main space and a separate VIP room. While the main space is capable of subdivision, we still think it works best when you have exclusive use of the entire space. We consider the food to compare reasonably well with similar venues, and we rate banquet prices as very competitive. Being in Strathfield, there are no shortage of ceremony locations within 10-15 minutes drive. Not all Chinese weddings need to happen in the city, and sometimes local convenience and local flexibility may be a better alternative. This venue is also suitable for a dance party at the end of the night just like any city Chinese venue.
OUR TIPS FOR THIS VENUE
* We recommend 3 tables (36pax) for the VIP room and approximately 14-18 tables (168-216pax) for the main space.
* There may be some Event Weddings recommended inclusions and additions for this venue before booking.
* Chinese restaurants are primarily NOT function centres or hotels, and coordinator/operations roles generally included with western venues are expected to be done by wedding planners or arranged by the clients
